How close is the beach?
The Marlowe is in Santa Barbara’s West Beach neighborhood, two blocks from West Beach. The historic train station is across the street, with State Street, Stearns Wharf, and the Funk Zone a short walk away.
Which suites welcome pets?
Pets are welcome in the Patio, Garden, and Family suites. Choose one of those three when traveling with a pet, and confirm the arrangements when booking.
Which suite is right for us?
Choose Library for a separate den and sunroom, Patio or Garden for ground-floor outdoor space, Vista for a cozy hideaway, Family for a king bedroom and twin bunks, or Terrace for an open-air terrace and mountain views. All six sleep up to four; layouts vary.
Can we book a whole building?
Yes. The whole Inn includes the Patio, Library, Vista, and Garden suites for up to 16 guests. The whole Villa includes the Family and Terrace suites for up to 8. These are the same six suites, grouped into two whole-property stays.
What should I know about stairs and parking?
The Patio, Garden, and Family suites are on the ground floor. Library, Vista, and Terrace are upstairs. Terrace is reached by one flight of stairs with no elevator, and includes one parking space. Please confirm specific access needs and parking for your chosen suite before booking.
What are the check-in and cancellation details?
Check-in begins at 3 pm and check-out is at 11 am. Cancellation terms vary by listing, particularly for whole-property stays. Review the exact terms on the live booking page before confirming your reservation.
